The painting of a censer was inpired by a visit to a museum in a nearby city where this beautiful censer was on display. Censers are used to burn incense or pastille or perfume in some solid form. They come in many shapes, sizes, forms, and materials, and have been used since ancient times around the world. the designs allow for a flow of air. Chains help swing the censer to spread the incense smoke.
